In order to meet the great demand for Trend products in the US,
Trend USA was created in 2005, with production plants, sales offices
and customer support services.
For a long time, Pino Bisazza, founder and president of Trend Group,
has fantasized about having his corporate headquarters in an ancient
villa. Now his dream has come true by acquiring the seventeenth
century villa, Villa Alle Scalette, right in the monumental heart
of Vicenza, Italy.
True to their vision, the new Trend premises creates the combination
of past and present, tradition and modernity to express the infinite
opportunities their products represent. Like the inside of a
jewel box, working and relaxing areas are set against the classicism
of the villa, restructured by architect Vittorio Veller. The
original decorative creations, conceived by Atelier Mendini,
using stone, enamels, mosaics and agglomerates, definitely
enrich the architectonic language with a new meaning.
At the end of September, four people from Stone Source were given the
opportunity to tour this awesome villa and see the wonderful
colorful eye candy of actualized Trend design tools at its best.
