Trend was established in Vicenza in 2000 by the entrepreneur Pino
Bisazza. The company produces and markets glass mosaics and
agglomerates in
glass or quartz and granite grit, through its production units
and sales offices in Italy and abroad.
Trend stands out for its extreme awareness of the evolution of
design and its constant commitment towards the research and
development of new products, in observance of canons
established by artistic traditions.
Drawing into the past to rediscover valued artistic techniques
and renew the possibilities of expression through modern
technology; this, combined with an extraordinary creative spirit,
is the true essence of Trend. The quest for new products moves
in different directions that translate not only into new materials,
but also into unconventional combinations of materials or colors,
unusual forms and original design solutions. This gives rise to
the suggestive multi-coloured transparencies, the unexpected
iridescences or the radiance of the various mosaic
collections destined to decorate not only private settings and
urban environments, but also works of art throughout the world.
The special formats and unusual combinations of materials used
in original decorative interpretations become the key players
of the latest trends. Mosaic proposed in innovative sizes,
the modularity of the various formats, mosaic tesserae fitted
into agglomerate slabs and the creation of thick agglomerates
epitomize and sustain a new freedom of design and expression of
which Trend is at the forefront.
Trend's artistic essence also finds expression in the traditional
artistic production of mosaic using gold leaf and coloured
enamels. At the nineteenth century Venetian furnace, Angelo
Orsoni, purchased by the Trend group in January 2003, a process
of pure alchemy is repeated every day to revive the ancient and
painstaking art of glass working.
Collections, materials, technologies, artistic techniques and
formats: a universe of ideas and countless multi-faceted
combinations to confirm an innovative and creative spirit in
continual evolution.
The Trend Group has moved their headquarters into a seventeenth
century villa in Vicenza, Italy, and have transformed the
interior into an awesome expression of the use of their materials.
