Water-Jet Stone Mosaicsby New Ravenna

Description

Introducing a collection of patterned mosaics, designed by Laura Gottwald for New Ravenna.

Reminiscent of the inlaid marble found in ancient Greco Roman and Far East architecture, these water-jet mosaics also draw their inspiration from Pop Art, pietre dure, Gio Ponti, Fornasetti and Juan O'Gorman's 1950's library at the University of Mexico. The series pays homage to its architectural roots and features simple shapes that can be juxtaposed to create an endless variety of patterns and textures.

Sizes + Finishes

Tiles are 5.75" x 11.5" x 3/8" thick (nominally 6" x 12").

Palettes are comprised of inset marble, limestone and alternative stones sourced from around the world. Custom blends and textures are also available upon request.

Applications

Modernist pattern for interior walls, floors and surfaces with a myriad of pattern possibilities. Mosaics may be used across a large expanse, as borders or scattered decoratives within a solid field.
