Description Leather is a series of through-body porcelain tiles, produced in Italy by Ceramica Colli. This line simulates the look of real leather in a variety of colors and sizes. Colors There are six colors in the line. All colors are offered in a natural slightly textured surface. Sizes Each color is offered in three nominal sizes, 6"x24", 12"x24" and 24"x24", plus mesh mounted mosaics. In addition, there are accent pieces, patterned tiles, plus 2"x12" base and a 12"x12" stair tread. All tile sizes are rectified to allow for minimal 1/16" grout joints. Tile thickness is 7/16" (11 mm). Stone Source has most of the colors in stock in 24"x24" tiles. Applications Leather is suitable for residential and commercial interior and exterior walls and floors. Tiles meet industry standards for slip resistance, with a ASTM C1028 rating of above 0.60, both wet and dry. Installation and Maintenance Tiles can be installed using standard installation methods for thinset adhesives. Use high quality adhesive and grout from such manufacturers as Laticrete and Mapei, following manufacturers' recommendations, depending on conditions. Clean regularly with mild neutral detergent. |
